#001 - The Cyborg Cub Mythian

First discovered in the middle of the 20th century, Botacub bears a striking resemblance to Brownie, but instead with the Plant typing. It is likely the result of direct genetic editing. The metal covering it's right-half contains electrical wiring to help Botacub live. However the malfunctioning of these wirings would result in the excess electricity finding the quickest exit out of Botacub's body. This would result in a powerful attack concentrated in Botacub's eye.

Name Origin

Botacub's name comes from the words "Botany", meaning the study of plants, and "Cub", the word for a small bear.

Botacub's Turkish name, "Botavru", comes from "Botanik", as in Botany the study of plants, and "Yavru", meaning baby animal.

History

Brownie may be the first ever Mythian concepted, but for a while it was replaced by Botacub. I went through a point during Mythians' creation where I believed every old design I had made (2019 era) needed to be replaced altogether. For Brownie, I redesigned it to be a Plant type sometime in 2023, replacing the other 2019 plant starter concept I had at the time. However, I eventually decided to bring back a bunch of old designs that I felt like had potential, including Brownie as the main "face" of the project. The old plant starter concept was also a weird cyborg thing, which is where the concept for Botacub's electrical half came from.
