Credits
Volcorvix was created by Purrplecolored. First teased on January 13th, 2024. Officially revealed August 17th, 2024. Volcorvix hasn't appeared in the comic.
Name Origin
Volcorvix's name is a combination of "Volcanic". relating to its typing, and "Corvix", another word for crow.
Volcorvix's Turkish name, "Volkarga", comes from "Volkan", meaning burn, and "Karga", meaning crow.
History
Ever since I created "Crow" in 2019, I always had the idea for an evolution that was a crazier crow but with two sets of flame wings. That aspect of Volcorvix's design carried through to the 2022/23 version that most people are familiar with, then of course also in the current 2025 redesign.
