As Lividoptera forms out of its cocoon, its wings are covered in the toxic fumes it lets out from its core. It seems to always be angry, as its mental perceptors are sent into frenzy by the toxic fumes it is covered in.

Lividoptera was created by Purrplecolored. Officially revealed August 17th, 2024.

Name Origin

Lividoptera's name is a combination of "Livid", referencing its aggresive nature, and "lepidoptera", the name for the order of winged insects like butterflies and moths.

Lividoptera's Turkish name, "Deli Güve", directly translates to "Mad Moth".

History

Interestingly enough, Lividoptera is one of the Mythians that have stayed the most similar throughout its life cycle as a design. When I redesigned it really the main change I made was adding the toxic gas surrounding its main body and wings, plus just making it more moth-like I guess. Its original name hasn't even changed much, either. Its original name was "Livikoon".
