#005 - The Shell Fish Mythian

The shell on its back is made of solid steel, and bears most of Pescapod's weight. This has let Pescapod grow strong joints near its fins, allowing it to have almost full control of the pod. It can use the steel to slam into opponents, or propel itself to speeds unlike most fish, or even other fish Mythians.

Pescapod was created by Purrplecolored. First teased on December 9th, 2023. Officially revealed August 17th, 2024. Pescapod has appeared in the following comic chapters: n/a

History

One of the oldest concepts, before even 2019. Sadly, I cannot place an exact date on Pescapod's original idea, but it was always meant to be a "water starter". In 2022 I brought it back for Mythians. And in 2025, I redesigned it with new fins instead of clouds for fins. Pescapod used to be called "Flownerd", before it was renamed to "Flowshell" in 2023, then renamed again to "Pescapod" in August 2025 with the refresh.

Name Origin

Pescapod's name is a combination of "Pesc-", a prefix relating to fish, and "Pod", refrencing its metal shell.

Pescapod's Turkish name, "Metasu", comes from "Metâl", as in metal, and "Su" as in water.
